Personal taxes that fit with the rest of your life.

1040 preparation for business owners and their families, coordinated with your business taxes.

Individual Tax Preparation (1040)

Who this is for

We prepare individual tax returns for our business clients and their immediate families. Most of our 1040 clients are business owners, their spouses, adult children, and key employees. Doing both sides of the return together is where the real planning happens.

We don’t market individual tax preparation as a stand-alone service to the general public. If you’re looking for a one-time 1040, there are great firms for that — but our model is built around longer relationships.

What it usually costs

Individual returns generally start at $750 and scale with complexity (multi-state, rental real estate, K-1s, capital gains activity, foreign reporting, etc.). We quote the fee before we begin work, never after.

Frequently asked questions

A few helpful answers before we get started.

When are individual taxes due?

April 15 for most filers. We file extensions when we need to, but extensions are not a way to pay later — estimated tax is still due on April 15. We help you make sure that’s covered.
