The SDA Way™
A proactive financial operating system for growth-minded business owners in Georgia.
Why we built it
Most small businesses we meet have the same problem: their bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning, and reporting all live in separate silos. Different people, different software, different timelines. Decisions get made on stale numbers. Tax bills show up as surprises. The owner becomes the bottleneck.
The SDA Way™ is our answer to that. Instead of bolting services together, we run them as one connected system. Bookkeeping feeds payroll. Payroll feeds tax planning. Tax planning feeds your decisions. And it all stays current.
The four pillars
The SDA Way™ is how we install, run, review, and continually improve the financial side of your business. Four steps. One coordinated system.
Install
Goal: a clean, organized financial foundation.
We start with onboarding, a discovery review, and a serious look at how things are set up today. From there we put together your accounting, payroll, and reporting so they actually fit your business.
- Onboarding and discovery
- QuickBooks Online setup and optimization
- Workflow organization and document routing
- Payroll coordination and tax agency setup
- Financial reporting structure
- Tax and entity review
- Operational assessment
Run
Goal: keep the financial systems operating smoothly and consistently.
This is the steady work. Books closed on a schedule. Payroll on time, every time. Reports you can trust. A team you can reach.
- Bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Payroll processing and tax filings
- Recurring financial reporting
- Tax coordination throughout the year
- Cloud-based collaboration and secure document exchange
- Ongoing support and responsive communication
Review
Goal: improve visibility, reduce surprises, and support better decisions.
On a regular schedule — quarterly for most clients — we sit down with you and walk through the business. Where you stand. What’s coming. What to do about it.
- Quarterly financial reviews
- Tax planning and projection updates
- Profitability and margin discussions
- Cash flow visibility
- Operational insights and owner questions
- Financial interpretation in plain English
Improve
Goal: help you operate more effectively with less stress and more confidence over time.
Year over year, we keep tuning. Process improvements. Smarter tax strategy. Better use of technology. Less running on the owner’s shoulders. The system gets stronger every year you’re with us.
- Process improvements and automation
- Tax strategy refinement
- Operational recommendations
- Technology optimization
- Workflow improvements and policy updates
- Long-term strategic guidance

Frequently asked questions about The SDA Way™
A few helpful answers before we get started.
Is The SDA Way™ a software product?
No. It’s our service system — how we work with you. We use modern cloud software (QuickBooks Online, payroll platforms, secure portals) to deliver it, but the system is the people and the rhythm behind the work.
How long does Install take?
For most clients, the Install phase runs 30 to 60 days. Some pieces (like taking over payroll on the next cycle) move faster; rebuilding a messy chart of accounts can take a few weeks of focused cleanup.
What do quarterly Reviews actually look like?
A 45- to 60-minute Zoom or in-person meeting. We walk through your financials, talk about tax planning for the year, look at cash flow and margins, and answer whatever’s on your mind. You leave with action items, not just reports.
Can I just hire SDA for one piece, like payroll?
You can. We have plenty of clients who start with one service and grow from there. We’re honest about when an integrated package will give you a better result than a single-service relationship.
